What to do with old embroidery frames?

I have three embroidery/tapestry frames a bit like this one. They are the type that you have to sew the aida onto the fabric strips on the frame and I won't use them anymore as I have clip on ones.

Any ideas what to do with them? Would a normal charity shop be able to sell them? I'm not sure it's worth selling them as they're quite heavy and difficult to package up so would be fairly expensive to post – not sure it would be worth it.

I've got 24" x 24 ", 24" x 12" and 15" x 12".

Use to mount and display a tapestry or a lovely bit of fabric

Cover with gauze/net and do cobweb embroidery on them?

I imagine they would sell on eBay

Wha'ts cobweb embroidery?

I did a google, got images of cobwebs, but I reckon this is something more exciting.

I've seen them in charity shops.
