Sewing patterns is a faff online. It's not like Ravelry where you just print it; it's the checking hte right sizes, sticking it all together, using 25 sheets of printer paper and then cutting it all up again.

Have you tried your local charity shops? We quite often get patterns in and sell them for 99p each. Lots of 70s flares and smocks!

Could you borrow some books from your local library?

KatyMac · 01/08/2019 08:57

I will try charity shops but for kids patterns PDF isn't too much faff

Didn't know the library did patterns - I'll ask

Or put a shout out on facebook or a local community site for things people don't want any more?

The library probably won't do individual patterns but they might have books with patterns in. Perhaps you could photocopy them.

Pretty much every indie pattern designer on Facebook (or their website) has a free kids pattern or more

Pinterest have them. All on an A4 sheet.
You trace them out then use that to cut...

Thanks

I haven't quite got the hang of Pinterest yet - working on it!
