WANTED: Black wool? Anyone got any lying around?

Just thought i'd ask on the off chance...

Need a lot of black wool for making egyptian wigs at a childrens holiday club. Just wondered if any of you knitters had half balls of it kicking about unwanted?

I don't have any black but, if I want spare odds and ends of wool, I look in charity shops. Our Age Concern gets lots of odd balls of wool.

i think you should source more of that super thick wool...it looked fantastic.

buy it!

the wigs look great; so simple but so effective

(i'm going to do a reccy of what's been dumped on the stage tomorrow afternoon so i'll let you know).
