So....does anyone want to have a look at my toys horses?

I was wanting to learn to knit, tried Debbie Bliss (confused me), and whilst I wait for a left handed knitter to answer my ad in the local knitting shop I thought I'd make a toy horse (I drew a picture of a horse type thing for my dd and then made it into a pattern). Loads of people liked it (the first one I made for DS) and suggested I sell them. So I have a little shop here and am feeling ever so smugly proud and wanted to show them off to people. Do you like? (there are some really nice ones in the items sold setion)

love those horses!! you're very good, i could see these in shops like john lewis and independant kiddie stores.

payday here i come ..... can oldies get away with buying them for themselves?

FillydoraTonks · 03/08/2007 08:51

oh they are so cute...

Gingermonkey · 03/08/2007 10:05

Champs - the first one I sold was to a grown up, as a present for her grown up cousin (who has a thing for horses and unicorns apparently). My sil wants one for herself (but she is trying to convince me it's for my nephew - it's a blatant lie, because she wants 2). So, yes, you can get away with it (and whilst you watch the telly you can rub the ribbons over your nose, which is very nice actually!!!! )
Tillyboo - phew, glad you like her....I'll email you back in a sec xxx

that's what i wanted to hear!!

also, i was wondering if you do them smaller or if it was possible to do one? I normally buy a little buddy for my new babies hospital cots just before my EDD

quickdrawmcgraw · 04/08/2007 13:40

I think these are completely for grown ups as much as children. My friend made and sold "these" last christmas and they were only for adults. She was saving up for a vascectomy for her dh. Her dh churlishly said that she just wanted to tell everyone that the fairies gave him the snip.

lololol!!!

Gingermonkey · 05/08/2007 00:09
