I'm planning on reupholstering my dining room chairs and I'm looking for some advice please.
I've been looking at upholstery fabric but am worried that it won't be hard wearing enough for us. The fabric seems more suited for curtains, cushions etc. Is there another "term" that I need to search for to find the fabric I need?
I'm going to have to ask an upholsterer to take the chairs apart as annoyingly they aren't constructed like most normal dining room chairs. The seat is attached to the frame by two rods which will need to be snapped and replaced.
Any help would be appreciated.
