Ds is 2 in august...what can I make for him?

Ideas please...REALLY want to make him something but just can't come up with any ideas! What do 2 year old boys like that I could make?
A rag doll perhaps? Will he play with it or will I just have to sendure months (if not years) of DH gently teasing me for spending ages making a doll for ds which he then ignores in favour of cars, trains and hitting things with sticks?

How about getting a large cannister of instant coffee (use the coffee) cover and paint the cardboard bit, put some dried peas in, seal the top with cardboard, at a spoon and you have a drum and shaker.

He does love that winning combination of hitting things and making noise!

Exactly. I made my DD a wrist rattle and she spent six sodding hours shaking it. I kept hoping she'd get tired but they are bloody relentless aren't they?
