Making Invitations

I know that this is not really arts and crafts but did not know where to post this question!!!
I am trying desperately to make my sons christening invitations and I am too stupid to work out how to sub-divide an A4 sheet of paper on the computer so that I can make two invites out of each sheet when folded.
Any ideas - please?!

Use Powerpoint rather than word. On the "view" toolbar you can select ruler and also grids and guides. This will divide the page up perfectly for you and doesn't appear on print. Hope this helps.

BTW - You're not stupid. I do this a lot so i just happen to know...

Or cut the paper in half first. Use word and in page set up select paper type as A5.

Agree - cut paper in half first and set page to A5 on word.

Or, get some card, and copy the same text 'insert' several times in the document. Print the paper, cut to size, and paste into the card.

Thanks will give it a go - I hate computers!
