... because I've just "finished my Birthday Book which is a 6x6 scrapbook with one page/photo for each of the SmallDragons' birthdays. There won't be anything else to put in it til next February!

I know I have crates/CDs full of photos I could "do" but I feel kind of bereft

Oh Soupy, I am SURE you can find something else to work on!!!!

Got any piccies please!!

SoupDragon · 06/07/2007 19:56

I managed to find the "need" to put a page with wee baby photos of them plus birth details at the front of my birthday book

There's one photo in the "purple star" challenge album.

I think it's just the fact that this was really my first scrapbook project

Little Jonny's Xray where he fell off the trampoline and fractured his tibia...

Did your mum like the paper bag albums you did BTW' frau?

(and I assume you had no "artificial crab" at the sushi restaurant?!)

I've sat at my desk upstairs and had no inspiration Sigh. The birthday book was perfect as it was only 6x6, just one picture per page with enough space for the name and age and I could do different things on each page. I have a 12x12 album which I find too daunting and another 6x6 one which has special pictures in (like the Gap Bear and BabyDragon's first bunches...)

And I've run out of things to punch holes/set eyelets in with my Cropadile. And I need to look on eyelet sites for new, interesting eyelets but I daren't...

soupy - join the invite challenge

flibbertyjibbet · 08/07/2007 00:06

A birthday book, think I will start one of those. what a nice idea. Do you put who attended a party, list of pressies etc or just the photo?
Or you've made me think I could have an illnesses/breakages album, although the two albums would cross over for DS2's first birthday and the pair of them with chicken pox! Where can I get a 6x6 scrapbook, I;ve only seen larger ones but am bowing to your superior knowledge and avoiding those for 'daunting' reasons!

Ohhhhh... a Christmas book. Now there's a thought. Except it will only serve to remind me that there are no pictures of DS2's first Christmas because someone stole my bag with the undeveloped film in it. Sob!

Fibberty, it's just one photo per birthday at the moment (because it's a 6x6 page so only little). I kind of plan to put things like a photo of the cake and an invite in behind the main page though.

Not in the mood for wedding invites, VVV

Glad your mum liked the book 'Frau

Flibberty, I got my 6x6 one from the sale list on Artbase. In fact one of them is still there, search on the page for 527089 I've seen them elsewhere too though.

Hello art and crafty people

I've just popped over from the MN Village show baking tent and was wondering if any of you lot want to get involved and do a 'craft' type comp?

For those of you who have not checked in on the cakes we are all having a marvellously silly time over there. Here are these weeks entries so far.

I can't do craft for figs but would love to have a nose at some of your best efforts.

Anyone interested?

Slubberdegullion · 08/07/2007 20:44

I apologise for using the words marvellously silly in my last post. Makes me sound like a twat.

The village show is very tongue in cheek.

Winning a virtual first prize rosette is however dangerously addictive.
