I'm new to crocheting and am getting a bit over run with scarves!

I've done a few blankets.

Any suggestions on what to try next?

Amigurumi toys are great fun to make.

If you know any children amigurumi (stuffed animals) is fab and really easy. There's hundreds of free patterns on the Internet too.

I've had some success with cushion covers and a hat, and made some crochet lace with fine cotton and a tiny hook (though that does take a bit of practice)

Hats and Beanies. There are loads of free crochet patterns online . I have done loads for the children, the amigurumi are fine if you choose s simple pattern but can be tedious

I have just started a Mobius scarf/cowl/shawl. It is a little different in construction and therefore more fun.

Why not try your first actual piece of clothing like a bikini top, tank top or even a pair of shorts or a skirt. The shaping can be lots of fun on these even if the actual crochet is plain.

I'm doing some socks, they are so easy.
