Working with t-shirt yarn

All the Tarn projects I have come across are for rugs, baskets, bags etc. Is it possible to make a garment out of Tarn?

Yes, look up , hearthookhome.com/the-elizabeth-cardigan-crochet-along-cal/
they show you how to make your own pattern according to size and any yarn.

It's lovely (and now another item on my to-do list Grin) but it's made in ordinary yarn, not t-shirt yarn.

You do a sample of your yarn. She shows you on the blog how to measure yourself to make in any yarn.

I personally wouldn't recommend it for garments. Heavy cotton tends to sag when worn and will take ages to dry flat unless you are willing to tumble dry the garment. I also think a garment made from it would be hot and uncomfortable to wear and you could end up frogging it anyway.

T shirt yarns do make great accessories like chunky cushion/pillow covers and mats too.
