Knitting for baby with sock yarn...

So, I have the Opal baby pattern, but I have enough sock yarn to make more stuff. I'm a basic knitter, anyone have any ideas for other baby projects please? Free patterns are especially loved

I made two needle baby socks - there are a few free patterns on the net.

Have a look on www.webofwool.co.uk website - she has lots of patterns for sock yarn including a baby jumper that makes the most of the stripes.
