Wool as a gift

I want to spend around £20 on wool for an elderly lady who makes clothes for babies and children and sends them to Africa. She lives in Wales and is very limited to the wool she can buy at the local shop! She doesn't like to knit with anything too fluffy. I'm NOT a knitter! Can anyone recommend me any wool/ yarn which is suitable and where I can buy a reasonable amount within budget? Thanks!

Acrylic will be best for lightness and ease of washing. Stylecraft Special is probably the best plain acrylic.

Yes Stylecraft Special Double Knit comes in a lovely range of colours.

I agree. It's great value for money too.

Agree with above. Free delivery from here if you spend £25

Go to wool warehouse and get stylecraft special they send it packed it a pretty bag and really quickly if you hunt online there is often a 10% off code somewhere. I would also looks at some variegated wool like this

Or this

As it will be interesting to knit with for her.

SC10 gives 10% I think.

Any cheap wool will be appreciated.
