I'm currently laid up with a broken leg and have decided to try cross stitch as a new hobby.
Could anyone suggest a good website to order a simple starter kit.
Thanks

I highly recommend www.sewandso.co.uk - they've got all the kits and supplies you'll ever need and it's well priced.

I buy from there fairly frequently and have always had quick deliver.

Not On The Highstreet have some great designs linky- the "It will be ok" one might be quite apt! Go for a kit that comes with a hoop, keeps the material taught and much easier to stitch.

I use sew and see, hobbycraft (can be pricey) and boyes. I've loved cross stitch for many years and it's addictive. Helps me with my arthritic joints
