Paper cutter machine

I recently purchased a paper cutter machine (brother scan n cut) which I'm swiftly falling in love with. However I'm learning on the spot and so I don't know much about them. Ideally I'd like to design my own projects, is there a software design programme that I can use which would be good for something like this? I can draw my own designs and scan them into the machine but this doesn't give me the crisp result that id like.

Thanks x

Scan and cut has its own online software. Google "Brother Canvas" for details on how to download or use online. Inkscape is a free vector program which you can also download. I use CorelDraw, Inkscape and Canvas and this meets all my needs. All of these programs have a bit of a learning curve, Canvas probably being the simplest, but well worth sticking with if you want to make your own designs. Hope that helps.

Thank you! Part of my problem is my hardware! I need to invest in a new tablet or computer. May I ask what you use? An iPad or tablet? Or a full monitor or laptop?

I'm thinking of either an IPad Pro or a Microsoft surface pro. Both with pencil.

I use a desktop computer, large monitor and Wacom graphic tablet and pen. This gives me the fluidity to create my own designs. I really don't know how the software would work with Ipad or tablet, but perhaps someone else may come along and advise you.
