Scented fabric Christmas decorations.

I’ve got lots of fabric scraps so want to make some fabric decorations or beanies but would like to make them scented, how could I add scent?

Pot pourri inside? Or those little things you hang in wardrobes to make your clothes smell nice?

@Frazzled74 - I saw a tutorial online where they stuffed with toy filling sprinkle with bits of cloves, cinnamon, dried orange peel and pine needles. I like the idea, I'm going to try this too!
