I'm looking for a new mindless knit or crochet project to do in front of the TV or at the local knit group.
I craft for charity/ woolly hugs and have a stash of stylecraft DK to get through.
I don't mind what i make, clothes, hats, scarves, ... I usually do blankets but fancy a bit of change.

In the run up to Christmas I like to crochet Christmas trees and snowflakes to make some nice garlands.

I love this pattern to make little Christmas trees:

Oooh, I like the look of those trees.

SoupDragon, the wool is sort of like this - not this colour but this type of wool.

I think it looks like it's at worth giving it a go to see what it turns out like.

I think it will work.

To be fair plain jumpers can be fairly mindless. You knit straight up until shaping for the arms and neck.

I have just finished two double bed sized crochet blankets, each made out of nine large granny squares.
