School summer uniform fabric

Anyone know where I can find a source of green gingham polycotton to make dd's summer uniform? My skin crawls at the feel of the synthetic dresses in the shops.

John Lewis, are C and H Fabrics still going ?

PrettyCandles · 15/06/2007 12:18

Do they do mail order?

I might be missing the point, but if you're using polycotton, why not buy a polycotton dress from M&S? They're not all teflon coated.

I didn't know M&S do them! Our local M&S doesn't.

What about this ?

I'm sure BHS do polycotton dresses as well.

Perfect - thank you.

The M&S Classic dresses come in non-teflon polycotton and are actually quite nice.

Asda apparently sometimes have 100% cotton dresses, ditto the National Schoolwear Centres.

Or just get them online here from CleanSlate.
