Christmas craft for WI group

I am on the committee of my local WI group. Our November meeting is due to be a Christmas craft evening. Can anyone suggest any fairly simple craft activities we could do, to last about 1- 1.5hrs?

For money you can buy ceramic baubles and paint those with ceramic paint.

For free you can make those big 3D paper snowflakes.

Making Christmas cards

Making a Yule Log (the traditional nature one, not the cake). I do this as a craft evening with friends every year, it’s fab!

Here’s the one I made last year.

How big is your WI (mine is 30)? I also run our craft group. Doing a whole meeting is more tricky as you have to cater for non crafters.

Book folding (in shape of a tree)
Tree decs made from felt
Snowman earrings
Button trees/snowman hanging decs
Chocolate/ pet wreaths
Creative ways of gifting cash
Christmas cards
Pompom Christmas puds
Crackers
Small easy gifts to go in crackers

Maybe three or four easy small things so they rotate and do more than one thing

Crochet snowflake?

I was just going to write a similar post myself Bubble! Our WI only has 10 members, a handful are keen crafters but 3 are residents of the home we hold our meetings in and need help
I've got an hour slot and am looking for some ideas myself
So far I've considered fire cone elves (felt hats and scarves) to hang on a tree
Small slate heart shaped plaques with stones stuck on in the shape of Rudolph with twig antlers and a red nose
Snowmen made out of white socks
Would be grateful for any more ideas as I'm very nervous not having done anything like this before!

Knitting ball baubles

Buy a pack of wooden cocktail sticks, a pack of children's beads from the pound shop which fit over the cocktail sticks, clear baubles, leftover yarn and some glue guns.

Cut a cocktail stick in half, glue a bead at the end to simulate a pair of knitting needles. Set aside to dry.

Glue the end of the yarn to the top of your bauble and start winding the yarn around it. Stop every so often and add a dollop of glue, continue until covered.

Slip the needles into the wool and this is what you should have:
