Wonky print on fabric....help!

Looking for advice from those who know.
I'm making a Roman blind and have come to cut the face fabric to size and have realised that the pattern has been printed a bit squint on the fabric.
Do I /would you:

  1. Ensure the weft line is true so that the blinds hang and fold well, but the pattern will be a couple of cms out or
  2. Ensure the printed pattern is straight which will look better when blinds are down but it may make the folds a bit off?
Returning fabric not an option for several reasons. Thanks.

I'd go for the pattern being straight.

How thick is the fabric? Once it's been hanging for a few weeks it probably automatically fold when you open them.

Fabric not too thick and I should have said, pattern is quite busy and not geometric or striped.

I'd stick it over the window with some tape for a day and see how wonky it looks when hanging 'straight' rather than immediately cut to follow the pattern.

Ah, if not geometric or striped then you'll probably be ok on the weft.

It depends on how much you'll notice it though. I know it'd annoy me if it was too wonky though Grin
