what are you printing?

I usually put it in corel draw and that has an option to reverse the image and text for printing it backwards

Katymac · 07/06/2007 18:18

Um - I'm in word (I am a bit thick at this stuff)

I have managed to reverse all the pictures - but I am completely stumped with the words

Sometimes you don't have to reverse the actual thing you want to print, your printer can do it. Choose Print, then options or properties and somewhere you may find "print as mirror image"

coleyboy · 07/06/2007 19:13

From memory you can flip the image on Powerpoint.

You design you image as normal, then flip it when done. I think the screen will show the mirror image, and print it as you see it (when it is reversed IYSWIM!!)

Katymac · 07/06/2007 20:24

I can't see that option soupy - sorry

I don't think I have powerpoint

There's an option in Word to change text direction (think it's in the Format menu) would that work?

bookthief · 07/06/2007 20:32

Ok, that doesn't work but if you use WordArt for your text then you can flip it to get a mirror image (search Word Help for mirror)

Katymac · 07/06/2007 20:35

I think that makes it go vertical rather than mirror image

I've tried it with WordArt and it works. Sort your text in WordArt and then click on Draw at the bottom left of the screen and choose rotate/flip and the flip horizontal.

Ok So I'm an enormous prat

I can choose T shirt transfer from my list of papers in the printer

Am I not a dork?

Put your text in a "text box" and then I think you should be able to flip the text box the same was as you did the image.

SlightlyMadSlug · 07/06/2007 20:40

X posts

That sounds like the easiest option. Or is it just the paper setting that gets changed by doing that?

SlightlyMadSlug · 07/06/2007 20:41

By that I mean it may change the parameters that are required for amount of ink, thicness of the paper etc. but may not actually alter the image that it is going to print.

Katymac · 07/06/2007 20:42

I tried it - it printed out mirrored
