here

I can't decide if I do.

It's a lot of yarn and a lot of time!

I like the blanket with trees on. It looks more funky. After the first row of trees you'll have got the pattern - why not knit up a square to try it out?

fillyjonk · 07/06/2007 07:01

oh the trees are lovely

might lean on mil to make it for db

Ceolas · 07/06/2007 15:28

Bundle, that tree is in Barbara J Walker, along with some alternative versions. Just in case you're interested.

thanks for your email ceolas, it was lovely to find it in my inbox this morning

I have finished the first 'row' of squares. Pic on my profile. It has 2 apple tree squares and a stocking stitch square in the middle. It's OK, but you need to read the pattern for every row so not something to do very late at night (esp when pregnant!).

Next block has 2 stocking stitch squares and one apple tree in between. Should be quicker!

I have 10 weeks to finish it

it's gorgeous ceolas

Hello, I definitely prefer the trees to the one you were originally contemplating ceolas - but I don't have that Mason Dixon kimono pattern you were after I wonder if NQC does?

bundle · 14/06/2007 14:26

is there just one Mason Dixon book? I was pondering it but the "look inside" pictures on their website wouldn't open on my browser at work..

Marina · 14/06/2007 14:26

Can see your gorge tree now. Take it you got your norty camera to oblige in the end

Ceolas · 14/06/2007 14:48

Ahem, twas the batteries Marina

I think there's just one Mason Dixon book.
