question for mosaic maker

Hello, I am an almost absolute beginner. Attended a 3 hour mosaic workshop, loved it.

I want to buy tools and practise at home before taking a proper course. I looked up on amazon and it's very confusing. Do I need both straight-edged and wheeled nippers? We used both in class. Teacher was a little intimidating and rushed us in the end, so I couldn't ask much.

Hi, I teach mosaic classes. I advise getting 1 pair of Leponit wheeled nippers. They can be used for many years by turning the wheels around with the little Allen key that comes with them.

There are lots of videos on YouTube for advice. Also join some Facebook mosaic groups and be warned.... Mosaics are addictive! Good luck.
