Candle thread from yonks ago

Does anyone have a link to an old thread about making homemade candles with essential oils that are as good as J Malone ones? Remember reading it a long time ago, finally ready to give it a go!!

Bloody love that thread. Made 20 candles for Christmas presents a few years ago

I really MUST update it! I’ve been perfecting and perfecting (so have others) mixes etc.

I had a really grand plan last year to go into production (found my glassware, designed my labels) and then got too busy with work to do it!

Excellent! Yes please up date! I am a bit confused about the 'double' boil pan thing. I made everyone eat lots of mouse in France as the little glass pots were lovely

Please be careful if you're burning candles with essential oils in around pets. Many essential oils are toxic to animals when burning, especially cats, birds and fish. You would be much better using fragrance oils formulated for candles.

I still haven't got round to the candle making! But I AM going to do it now for Christmas. Has anyone made bergamot & orange fragranced candle? I adore the Molton brown fragrance of this in their shower gels......trying to do a DIY candle....
