Anyone knit knockers?

I'm not good at big projects so I'm always looking for something to work on in the evenings to stop me eating. I came across the knit for knockers site and thought I'd try them. I have lovely bamboo yarn as well as merino and cotton that might suit. Are the knockers complicated to make? I've had a look at some of the patterns and think I could manage them but I'm not great at working out patterns until I'm actually doing them Blush

I've looked into it but not sure I'm a good enough knitter for the official knitted knockers group yet as they check your work and it has to be up to standard. Just saw this group on Facebook though via simply knitting who are looking for 200 knitted boobs for trainee midwives so may knit a few for them

Yes, that would be a bit of a concern. I think I'll have a few practice ones before I send any finished products. I've emailed my local group asking what colours and yarns they need and I'll try a couple. That midwife request is great but I'm not in the UK. A friend is an antenatal instructor so I'll see if any of her colleagues might use my practice boobs!
