I've got some lovely, cool, viscose fabric leftover from dressmaking, and I need some inspiration what to do with the remnants.

In the purple Fabric A I've got:
2 pieces approx 21”x48”
1 piece approx 18” square
Sundry scraps and strips

And in the red/orange Fabric B
1 piece approx 23”x46”

The garments I've made have all been either one fabric or the other, though I trimmed a Fabric A top with narrow binding in Fabric B.

I'm a size 16-18.

Any ideas?

Any sewers around?

I'm a sewer but don't work in inches so I can't tell how big the pieces are.

If I have made the garment I intended with some fabric and there is some left over then I just put it in the fabric bin and move on to my next project. At some point I invariably need something to make pocket bags or line a garment and I hunt through my fabric scraps.

Yes, I also usually store scraps. But I've never used viscose before, so have nothing to match it up with IYSWIM. It doesn't strike me as particularly hard-wearing fabric, I'm not sure I would use it for pockets. Might make a nice lining, but I don't tend to make things that need lining. (I've only once made a lined garment, a kawaii skirt for dd, that had to be very poofy, and that she wore exactly twice!)

Here are the measurements in cm:

In the purple Fabric A I've got:
2 pieces approx 52 x 122
2 pieces each approx 45cm square
Sundry scraps and strips

And in the red/orange Fabric B
1 piece approx 58 x 116

I'd make a bag in A, with a lining in B. Plenty of patterns online - some really nice designS.

You could easily make a little top with those measures. If you stick to sleeveless you should have enough.
