So which package should I use

I guess I could do a table in Excell or word & just delete the borders as necessary

But I'm sure there must be a better way

Any ideas??

If I don't get too many replies - I might try posting in Geeky stuff

what does the map have to be of?

Katymac · 30/05/2007 15:36

Directions to my house

So 2 main roads - major landmarks

But really a line drawing - so very simple

Can't you print it out off multimap ??

scatterbrain · 30/05/2007 15:38

You can also do directions and proint them off - postcode to postcode ! Really easy - it's what I alwasy do for visitors !

Katymac · 30/05/2007 15:39

There is too much detail

I want it to be simple and elegant to go in my new brochure

KatyMac - CAT me - I'll do it for you, how hard can it be, I have Illustrator and Photoshop and used to work in design many moons ago.

Katymac · 30/05/2007 15:48

Really??

That's very kind of you

I'll send my (very bad) drawing (which is vertical & needs to be horizontal)

Plus the page on multimap (which will make more sense)

Thank you

Katymac · 30/05/2007 15:57

Okay, well we'll go for a JPEG then

If you are printing this professionally you might want to make it into a PDF so you don't look font info during transfer.....

Oh look email me, we'll figure it out together!

Katymac · 30/05/2007 16:21

I did already

Now I need to work out how thick card - my computer will print on

OP posts:
whomovedmychocolate · 30/05/2007 17:26

Depends on the printer, but you should be fine up to 400 gsm.

Katymac · 30/05/2007 19:47
