Just had my head turned by marquetry..

I was at the Creative Craft Show, came across a stand demonstrating marquetry and bought a kit with a pattern, thin veneers, blades and everything.

Does anyone do marquetry?

I don't, but I would like to one day when dd is older and goes to school and I have a bit more time. It is amazing what some artists have created with little pieces of wood creating patterns or pictures. Post a pic of what you've created when you've finished.
