Jersey knit dressses

I have a few dresses I love and want to make my own do I need an over locker?

you can roughly do the edges of jersey with a zigzag stitch on a regular machine (at least, I do) but it will be much neater if you have an overlocker.

I sew jersey with a zigzag stitch on a regular sewing machine. The seams aren’t as neat and it’s a bit slower.

I just use a zig zag stitch, with a ball point needle.
