Sewing machine troubles - plea for help (with pic!)

Hello, am fairly new to being back at the pedal of my sewing machine, having not really sewn since I was in school 20 years ago. Have had some small successes, but tonight I cannot work out why my bobbin thread is all bobbly. The top visible line of stitching is nice and neat, but the underside resembles my worst nightmare. Is there anyone who could give me a hint as to what I have done wrong when rethreading my bobbin this evening (all my other bobbins are fine!).

Many thanks!

It looks like a tension problem with your bottom bobbin. I would rethread it and see if it helps.

Is it possible you had the bobbin thread threaded wrongly?

I would re-thread & check your tension.
(I have fabric like that that i love!)

Thank you for the suggestions! I rethreaded everything, and now all is working perfectly!

My daughter now has a finished lightweight sleeping bag! Smile
