mother/daughter outfits

Was thinking I might sew dd (nearly 3) and myself blouses or dresses from the same fabric. DH is appalled - thinks it is just too goofy. What do other mumsnetters think?

My mum did it in the 70's . I suppose I could make it matching jammies.

yeuch.

it was bad enough when my mum dressed me and my sis the same. I was 12 yrs old and my sis was 3 i looked like a freak.

Your DH is right. Dear oh dear woman, get yourself to Primark and you can have 20 t-shirts and a dress for the same price as the material
