Those beads what you arrange and iron (can't remember what they're called) my 8yo SD loves them. Keeps her quiet for hours

I got my first sewing machine at that age, you can get some great first ones from places like hobbycraft - if she’s into that sort of thing. I always appreciate a nice canvas and new paints though

Or go to the £ shop and buy loads of arts and crafts bits and make her a box. Always a good present. Apart from glitter stuck in my beautiful rug

Warm glue gun. Can do anything with a glue gun and the warm ones are safe or may need a bit of supervision for a while depending on the child

DS had a pug one and really enjoyed makng it himself. The holes are preset so its just threading the needle through following instructions

I agree with the pp - a nice set of watercolours and decent brushes with a watercolour pad is one of my go to presents for that age group. The Range do some good painting stuff.
