Can anyone count rows in moss st?

I think I've done 12.... but I'm not sure 🤔 lost count

Sorry, should be 10 rows in moss stitch, count up two horizontal rows.

I make it 11

Count the purl "bumps" across two stitches. They should zigzag up the work.

Another way is to work out where your cast on tail is. (This works for me - I am right handed)

If you use the thumb method of casting on then your tail will be on the right hand side of your work when the right side is facing you. This will be for all odd numbered rows. If it is on the left hand side then you are starting an even numbered row.

If you do a two needle cast on then your tail (from your slipknot) will be on the left hand side of your work when you start an odd numbered row and the right hand side if you are starting an even numbered row.
