Slime - safe recipes

Does anyone have any safe slime recipes? DD wants to make some but I'm feeling a bit nervous about mixing chemicals/her skin etc. Then again, I am quite a nervous person...

There's one that uses PVA (newer the better), contact lens solution ( has to have borax as an active ingredient) and baking soda. Yes borax is a chemical that could do you harm but its very weak in the solution and its in an eye product which I found reassuring. Tesco own brand worked
