Sewing/Knitting Baby Clothes

Hello!

I sew for a living/study and wanted to dip my toes into sewing baby items in the run up to having my first child.

I've looked a lot on Pinterest for free patterns/fun paid patterns but am just a bit bored of what I keep seeing.

Wondered if anyone on here sews for their LOs or for other children, babies and beyond and would love to see what you make.

I appreciate I probably won't see many replies due to the volume of different forums on here but would love any pattern recommendations free or paid too which are aimed at babies and toddlers :)

Show me your makes guys! (Also definitely in the market for some funky knitting/crochet patterns as I have just got back into knitting!) :)

I am a big fan of the Made By Rae Geranium Dress and the Little Lizard King Bellevue Romper. I am new to sewing and have started an Instagram account just for that, and follow a lot of small pattern makers on there. Can give you my username if you want but you will have to keep in mind that I’m learning!!
I think it really depends on the sort of style you like. Do you know if you’re having a boy or girl? I have a 16 month old daughter so like her in cute, slightly classic looking things but stuff she can play in too. So withthe geranium dress, I actually have swapped the skirt out for bloomer shorts and love how cute they are AND how practical it is for playing in. I am planning on buying the Wiksten harem trouser pattern next, and people really rave about their bloomers too. I have zero recommendations if you lean more towards the t-shirt and leggings look I’m afraid!

i'm not doing tiny baby items anymore
but more toddler.
i enjoyed many years of knitting Beehive baby layettes, easy to follow directions.
Just finished the Azel Pullover found on etsy. almost too easy...one sized 2-3 and now one 5-7
