Can anyone help me with a quick (I hope) question re Bernina sewing machine?

I haven't a clue how to use the needle threader!

It's an oldish machine, from the late 80s/early 90s I think, called Bernina 1130 if that's any help.

Thanks.

No, but lucky you - Bernina's are great!

Well it's clearly not a quick question! I've gone and bought a conventional wire-loop threader now, but would still quite like to know how to use the Bernina one! So please, if anyone knows, tell me.

I have a needle threader on my Riccar but since I tried to sew over my finger (rather gory story!) it doesn't work very well and I've found it's actually easier just to thread it normally!

this any help?, if you scroll down, the instruction manual can be downloaded

I've got the original manual. It just says that there is a needle threader, but doesn't give any indication how to use it. It must be glaringily obvious - no doubt I'll be when I learn how to use it!

Ouch PP! Maybe the needle is bent now?
