Knitting Looms

What are they? Are they worth buying?

As a child, did you ever make long coils of “knitted” yarn using a cotto reel with 4 nails hammered in the top? Looms are like that but with more nails!

I picked some up from Aldi r cent lay and made a pretty good hat. Quite quickly too.
