Anyone know about iron on applique patches?

This sort of thing? I have a dress where the neck has a tear and no matter how I sew it you'll be able to see it's been repaired. I want to iron an applique thing over the repair, and then elsewhere as well so it looks like intentional design, but can you cut these things without them fraying as I don't need quite so much foliage ironed on to my chest.

If I could cut it so a smaller branch is at the neck and a longer piece is on the bottom hemline, it would look more like I envisaged it, but I don't want to buy something and then find it frays when I cut it.

TIA.

I have never cut one but as the back is glued I think it would hold together ok. If not then just sew a few tiny stitches where you cut the end?

Thank you Stichit. I have some fabric glue to repair DS's coat so will give it a go.
