I usually send my god-daughter (16 yrs this year) a home-made token or present.

I have already made scented & stuffed heart/ cosmetic bag/purse/phone holder/lap top bag/embroidered cushion.

I'm stumped for ideas for this February! And I don't have much time either so it needs to be simple!

Pyjama bag? :/ I was forever sleeping over my friends houses at that age.

Ooohh that's a good idea! Thank you Troubled! Will have a look on Pinterest.

Anyone else?

Friends with teenagers have been asking if I can do some embroidery hoop art, or show them how to.

Thank you Youwereright! I've just googled some examples and there is plenty of scope there for doing something!

I perforated a blank card and cross stitched a heart onto it... Might that be enough?

Subtleconstraints · 31/01/2018 07:55

Thanks Pixie dust I have done something similar in the past but I wanted to make her a small present this year.

Make-up brush roll?

Subtleconstraints · 31/01/2018 08:44

Mistyreturns mmm that's definitely worth a ponder - thank you - that or a jewellery roll ... neither are too difficult to make... .
