salt dough food for a display

Has anyone got any ideas, or has anyone successfully made "meat" pies and tarts for a display? Most of the stuff I've found is for flat decorations, so I need some advice on this. (only small pies - nothing too ambitious!) thanks

I’ve never had much success with salt dough but wouldn’t you just make a pie as you normally would only using salt dough and baking it long and low? Would you need the fillings visible or just encased in a pie crust?

Thanks for the reply Soup - I just wanted to make some small pork pie type pies to put out on a table, so they would be "solid" same for sausage rolls

Make a test one and if it works make more.
