Like the toast one here www.toa.st/uk/product/c1iaf/wool+cotton+pinafore+dress.htm?clr=c1iaf_darknavy&utm_source=criteo&utm_medium=retargeting&utm_campaign=retargeting

Don't really mind if it's exactly the same or anything just a similar style that I can make in different fabrics.

Also was hoping it would work for a beginner, I sew toys but not got as far as clothes yet. I also have some beautiful check woollen material I'd like to make into a skirt.

There was a pattern about for somthing similar but it came free with a magazine, I saw someone make it up and then post on Insta.
You could try mashing 2 patterns together? Tilly and the buttons have patterns that look like they could be of a similar style and they sell patterns in a bundle.

I'v made a pinafore like that based on Tilly and the Buttons Cleo. It needs quite some hacking though. Marilla Walker's Roberts Collection (on Etsy) is another possibility, though again would need hacking.

Have a look at Named Clothing - not quite the same, but they do have a pinafore and dungarees. You can either download from their website or Backstich sells the hard copy patterns in the UK.
