Does anybody else do this?

They see something they want to make on Pinterest or wherever (tutorial), buy the fabric and accessories, then.....go and do something else, like empty the dishwasher or something.
Why am I doing this? I need a swift kick up the backside. Please tell me there is a genuine reason for it.
I’ve even been to a sewing lesson lately for a kickstart (I’m a beginner) and the seamstress thinks I’ve not done bad at all with what I’ve made.
My friends keep badgering me to get back on it also.
I’m scared I’ve gone off sewing, yet when I get into the swing of it, I love it. Help 💐

I do this. I had a list of jobs that had been lining up for ages, once I actually started I then didn't stop, I cleared a day and sewed like crazy and finished so much.

Having a permanent sewing space has helped (perhaps not so easy if it's a new hobby) but being able to keep the machines and other bits and bobs out all of the time helped because there isn't so much to do to get going.

I use the dining room table and put everything away when I’ve finished, table mats back out etc, so it’s not a permanent sewing space, no.
