Salt dough decorations

Hi,

I would like to make some decorations for the tree with my almost 2 year old. Anyone have a tried and tested recipe? I have found some on line but the don’t say how long to bake them for? Also I’m assuming you paint/cover with glitter after they have been baked? Thanks!

We used this recipe last weekend - http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/craft/543182/homemade-salt-dough-recipe]

It worked great and we painted/added glitter afterwards and they're still going strong (we were worried that they'd go a bit soft/not handle the mountains of glue/paint added by DD Grin).

Recommend white clay over salt dough for christmas decorations
