I have been asked to do wedding invites for my dads friend at work.

Wedding is december, 2nd marriage, both in their late 40's/early 50's so will be a plain simple affair.

Can anyone give me some hints and tips on where to buy embellishments/cards etc and some rough ideas, as well as possible prices to charge?!

Im gonig to make up a few samples and let her see what she thinks.

Just stuck on where to start really.

Alright Jarm??

eco cardblanks

embellishments they do esp. nice flowers on taht site- the over sized paper roses are to die for, really they are. They also have a 'wedding stationery link' at the bottom for ideas for embellishments

Iss there a colour theme otr anything JARM?

One card I like is a gatefold (brilliant for w4eddings), tie with a piece of organza ribbon in ivory / white or theme colour, add a wedding ring embellishment, wire heart or red paper rose to the bow as a charm et voila- very tasteful, very sophitictaed.

You can also have a white narrow ribbon tie on them, secure the ribbon each side of the gatefold with a white dove to look as if the doves are tyoing / untying the bow, iyswim?

Minimalism is best imo. whites / ivory/ maybe one colour (gold or silver work well, or a classic deep red)

need any other ideas?
