Machine or sew - pieced cushion cover

Because I've never done either for paper piecing patchwork... But I want to make a cushion cover from this design. My hand sewing is good, and I suspect would give me more control, but machine would be faster, once I'd got the hang of manipulating the shapes.

So, anyone with experience want to guide me?

Hopeful bump?

Machine sewing would be quicker but if some of the pieces are small it could be fiddly to get round the corners.

If you're happy for it to be a longer project and you're hand sewing is neat enough then it would make a good evening in front of the TV project.

Thanks! And damn, still no closer to a decision... Maybe I should just cut out the pieces and see how scary it looks...
