I absolutely love this wool. Why oh why do they discontinue such a lovely wool which crochets like a dream.

I still have some left but I wondered if anyone had found a suitable alternative which I could use alongside it. Rowans yarn substitution site is rubbish and they only recommend obscure expensive wools.

Wouldn't Rowan wool cotton DK be a substitute? It is lovely to work with.

Oh no!, that's discontinued too (have clearly been living under a stone). Drops merino cotton, you can get it online from wool warehouse cheaply.
