glue for satin fabric?

Got a project on that involves glueing satin to card - i've tried a couple of glues but they both show through the fabric and leave a permanent stain. Does anyone know of a glue that won't stain thin fabric?

You may have already sorted this but if you haven't, I find that double sided works best. For ribbons I use the super sticky red double sided tape rather than the standard one.
