Learning to crochet

Can anyone link me to anything that's going to help me master the magic ring? 😭 I just cannot get it right. It's driving me bananas!

I've watched umpteenth YouTube videos and just cannot get it right 😒😒

This one from Cherry Heart was the one I got it from in the end.
I find taking it off my fingers once I've got the first chain helps.

YouTube! There's quite a few videos showing you how to do it. I needed to watch someone do (about 10 times) before I got the knack

Bella Coco on YouTube. I did a 3hr learn to crochet workshop at a knitting shop which got me started. I learnt how to hold the hook, count the stitches and that you can remove your hook or rip out stitches without it all going to pot.

Have a look at Girlybunches on YouTube-it all became clear!

It took me ages to learn the magic ring but now I use it all the time. I also use Bella Coco videos and this is her magic circle that I learned from.
