I'm just finishing a pair of socks for Dh, having done a pair each for both boys, and I want to do some for myself. I want a really soft yarn that makes stripes/a pattern. I've done theirs in Sirdar Town and Country but I'd like something a little bit more girly for mine.
I really like the look of Koigu's Painter's Pallette but I don't like the price (infact, when I told DH how much a pair of socks would cost, his reply was "they'd better be bloody comfy socks!"
Anyone got a favourite?
