Sizzex Big Shot Pro - handle shaft come off

Hi, I've borrowed a friends Sizzex Big Shot Pro and after 10 minutes gentle use the turning metal shaft (that comes from the handle) has come away from the casing. One of the die templates is now jammed between the rollers and I haven't a clue how to fix this. Is this a common problem? Does anyone know how I can attached the shaft? It doesn't make any sense as there is no give to push it back in. Its as if it's 1/2cm too short.

There should be a screw. If you slot the handle back in and look for the screw ?

Sorry. Give them a call. It sounds as though you maybe didn't use the right plates and they jammed. It's very easy to do. I don't know if you know anyone who is an engineer who would be able to put it back. I'm not sure how easy it is.

I'm in contact with sizzix. They're going to get back to me once they've looked at one of their machine to figure out what's happened. I suspect you can't get parts to it any more as I can't find this model on a Google search. Friend is amazingly chilled about it.

If a big shot broke. Then it's been at the end of it's life. Seriously those things are tanks x
