Aw starshaker, sorry you have been let down!

Unfortunately making cards etc is about the only craft I don't do - but I'm bumping this for you anyway.

starshaker · 27/03/2007 22:17

I'd stick with a basic design thats simple to do. (maybe someone on here can help you out & make some ??)
Have a Google to get ideas for designs. Insides can be printed on the PC.

Give me an idea of the sort of design you want- I am more than happy to make up/cut some die shapes etc for you.

If you have a Paper Mill shop near you, you can buy flat card and fold your own at a fraction of the cost. Craft Creations is very good (online)but does have a fairly steep P&P cost- but well worth a look for some ideas and you may be able to get every thing you need in one go.

More than happy to help you with ideas etc if I can be of any use. When do you need them by? I might be able to sort card blanks/envelopes out even depending on what you want.

Won't be around tomorrow morn but quite welcome to give me a shout on;

i get married on 25 aug and wanted to send out my invites 3 months beforecos a lot of our family will have a long way to travel. the 1 i fell in love with was a plain white card with a burgandy square of paper then a smaller black square inside with a burgandy heart

Starshaker- I am sure I could work something out for you you that price. I would normally charge £2.50 per card but give 10% of that to my local Down Syndrome Group- but without that I think I could offer something suitable for your budget considering you have been let down.

Have a look at my work and see if you feel "comfortable with my work" and if so I can draft up a few simple designs for you.

Some of my "stuff!"

starshaker · 28/03/2007 16:41

thanx so much for the offer but i went and bought loads of stuff today. i want to give it a go. so wish me luck and ill post a pic for opinions when ive done 1

Like the fuzzy pink stuff!

Id move the "wedding" bit - either below the heart or move the heart down. I tend to go with the rule of thirds when placing things, somehow seems to make them look more balanced.

Lovely idea doing your own

Fubsychicksnbunnies · 29/03/2007 20:09

Starshaker, i hope I havent offended you?
